AboutTravis McCory has been in residential construction and land development since leaving PricewaterhouseCoopers in 2001. Armed with a Masters in Accounting from the University of Mississippi, McCory began developing partnerships with national home builders through the development of master-planned communities in Denver, Colorado and Charleston, South Carolina. In 2005, McCory joined Beazer Homes as Executive Vice President of Land. After leaving Beazer Homes in 2008, McCory formed McCory Construction. McCory was the 2008 President of the Charleston Home Builders Association and is in the process of obtaining his Master Builder and Certified Green Professional designations. McCory is also a past board member of the Charleston County Board of Zoning Appeals. McCory Construction is both a South Carolina licensed Residential Builder and a General Contractor.
